Vmware Fusion Kali

Want to download Kali Linux custom images? We have generated several Kali Linux VMware and VirtualBox images which we would like to share with the community. Note that the images provided below are maintained on a 'best effort' basis and all future updates will be listed on this page. Furthermore, Offensive Security does not provide technical support for our contributed Kali Linux images. Support for Kali can be obtained via various methods listed on the Kali Linux Community page. These images have a default login/password of 'kali/kali' and may have pre-generated SSH host keys.

We generate fresh Kali Linux image files every few months, which we make available for download. This page provides the links to download Kali Linux in its latest official release. For a release history, check our Kali Linux Releases page. Please note: You can find unofficial, untested weekly releases at http://cdimage.kali.org/kali-weekly/. Downloads are rate limited to 5 concurrent connections.

Ordinarily, the default camera of the host system is added to the virtual machine. You can select a camera by name. If a named camera is chosen, the camera of your virtual machine is connected explicitly to that camera. VMware Fusion looks great on the latest 5K iMac and 6K Apple Pro XDR displays, and supports mixed retina and non-retina setups. Use a standard DPI display with your retina MacBook Pro or add a 4K display to your setup without hassle. No matter what sort of display you're using, Fusion makes Windows look better than ever. This assumes you have download kali-linux-2.0-amd64.iso and ready to install Kali Linux. Open VMWare Fusion on your PC (I am using MAC in this demo) Click on Add icon and New Select the installation method as 'Install from disk or image' and click on Continue.

We have a fascination with ARM hardware, and often find Kali very useful on small and portable devices. Over time, we have Built Kali Linux for a wide selection of ARM hardware and offered these images for public download. The scripts used to generate these images can be found on GitLab. These images have a default password of 'kali/kali' and may have pre-generated SSH host keys.

If the host system has multiple monitors, you can configure a virtual machine to use multiple monitors. You can use the multiple-monitor feature when the virtual machine is in full screen mode.

• Verify that the virtual machine is a Workstation 6.x or later virtual machine.
• Verify that the latest version of VMware Tools is installed in the guest operating system.
• Verify that the Windows or Linux guest operating system is supported.

Procedure

1. Select the virtual machine and select View > Autosize > Autofit Guest to verify that the virtual machine can resize correctly.
2. Power on the virtual machine and select View > Full Screen.
3. On the full screen toolbar, click the Cycle Multiple Monitors button.
   On a Windows host, you can mouse over a button on the toolbar to see its name. The guest operating system desktop extends to the additional monitor or monitors.
4. (Optional) Click the Cycle Multiple Monitors button again if the host system has more than two monitors and you want the virtual machine to use all of the monitors.
   The order in which the virtual machine uses the monitors depends on the order in which the monitors were added to the host operating system. If you continue to click the button, you return to fewer monitors.
